When I logged on-

Tariq nodded, trotting happily behind Jack. He was just glad that he finally had a friend. He had dropped in popularity a lot since his Egypt days. His mother said he couldn't come back until he got the entire Egyptian land to worship her. He was close to achieving her a good place for a while until the fucking humans decided to collapse their own civilization. The gods just faded from existence after that, Bastet with them, so now he was stuck here.
(Off topic there but here have some backstory)

[The HABIT]

"All around the mullberry bush the kitty chased the weasel, the feline thought t'was all in fun.... POP! Went the weasel!" Jack sang in a song-song cackle as he ran down the hallway

Tariq struggled to keep up, but still took the time to jump in the air when Jack sang "pop". Just a fun thing, rather hard to not do, actually.

[The HABIT]

Jack poked into Ben's room to see Sorrow sitting beside the limp tom, singing softly, her voice beautiful and quiet. "Though the ties of your past are haunted, you never took your powers and flaunted. The hands that held you underwater are broken, child you have only awoken..." She was singing, holding the tom's muzzle with her paws and keeping the water away

Tariq skittered under Jack, poking his head into the room from inbetween his paws. He sat and listened, not daring to speak.

[The HABIT]

"He's stable" Sorrow didn't even turn around, how did she know they were there? LJ jumped, nervously laughing. "I'm..I'm sorry, Sorrow" he said with a nervous grin of sharp teeth. Sorrow turned and walked forward, standing before Jack with her head high so that she could stare up at him with a look of no emotion. She lifted a paw with a sickly sweet smile, "Don't worry about it" her soft voice cooed, making Jack soften from being tense. "Phew, I thought you'd be mad" Jack chuckled.
"Oh, I am, I'm very, very mad" Sorrow was still talking with that kind voice as she swiped her paw, her metal blade's catching Jack's cheek and slicing him across the face.

[Vaermina]

Tariq crouched low and began backing out from under LJ, he winced as Sorrow's claws raked against his friend's face, but he was unsure of what to do about it. He sure as hell wasn't going to attack her, he just glanced over at Jack, waiting to see what he would do.

[The HABIT]

The scratches instantly sizzled black, and faded right back to normal, but that didn't mean it didn't hurt. "Hey!! That wasn't nice!" Jack protested. Sorrow giggled, smiling "Well, neither is what you did to BEN"

[Vaermina]

Tariq relaxed, a small speck of disappointment rose within him. He had slightly wanted to see a fight, though he felt a little guilty about it.

[The HABIT]

Jack leaned over to the kit, telepathically speaking in Tariq's mind. 'You don't ever want to fight Sorrow, trust me'. Sorrow suddenly spoke, "Why not? What's the issue with fighting me? I'll fight you, TRY ME." Sorrow slid the claws from their sheaths, two sets of lethal blades showing, one claws, one hard medal.

[Vaermina]

'She's very eager to do this.' he thought. Looking down at his own tiny claws, he saw they were the same as always. Being a kit sucked to the highest level.

[The HABIT]

Laughing Jack's eyes widened and he shook his head "I am not stupid, I wouldn't fight Eyeless Jack and I wouldn't fight you! Dumb decision!" He chuckled nervously. Sorrow giggled, her claws back to normal. "Glad we still share mutual respect, LJ"

[Vaermina]

'Are there any more Jacks I should know about?' Tariq asked. How many cats could there be with a name that starts with j?

[The HABIT]

"Two" LJ replied, before turning back to Sorrow. "What do you mean, mutual respect?" He asked. Sorrow began to laugh, grinning "You think that I would fight you? NO! I can be all growl no scratch, it's intimidation that saves you sometimes" Sorrow chuckled

Tariq just began rolling around on the ground for no reason except he felt like rolling.

Sorrow turned to look at the kit, smiling softly with the fire of a mother in her eyes. "I should teach you some fighting moves sometime, Toby, Masky, Graffiti and I! Just like the old days...." Her gaze faded and she looked like she was dazing into a fond memory, sighing the heaviness of her heart

[Vaermina]

'I'd like that.' he replied, as always, in his head. He eventually stopped rolling around on the floor, his fur now going every which way as he lay on the floor.

[The HABIT]

"Back then Hoody was alive..." She thought of the tom, and a sadness crept over her. "We all miss him, he was my favorite trainer, along with Grafiti. "Let's get back to the Abandoned Hospital, shall we? You can meet them" Sorrow smiled

[Vaermina]

Tariq nodded, it would be good to meet some new cats. After all, he was planning on staying in this area for a while. There was nothing wrong with making a few connections in the process.

[The HABIT]

"Let's go, then" Sorrow smiled and picked him up, trotting out of the Abandoned Hospital and making her way into the woods.

[Vaermina]

Tariq followed a a brisk pace, having to nearly run to keep up with Sorrow. The leaves crunching beneath their paws was the only sound aside from the birds chattering in the trees.

Soon Sorrow exited the trees and entered the large graffiti-filled building

Tariq hung from her jaws and examined his surroundings, trees trees and..oh what's that!? Another tree.
